"In the Mix"
You move with the instincts of a wild animal
An exotic, lovely creature, lithe, like a rare Siberian tiger
Sure of herself and at home where she is
Who revels in her every move, every supple gesture
Marked by effortless grace.
Who revels in the mystery of her free spirit and lets us know
We who would possess her
That though she is at ease in our sight and has us in her spell
We may never possess her
We may never come close or even know her
For she belongs to the wild
She can never be tamed.
"Next to Me"
A goddess holding a torch aloft, radiating a brilliant white light
An image from a movie studio that speaks of eternity
Distilled in the serenity of your smile
Radiates the light of peace and stillness
Not with words but with an eloquent visual experience
To be savored with the caress of music, the movements of the dance
That lose us in their reverie, take us to wherever we want to go
To expression that is pure, and sweet, and forever.
To the essence of beauty, the work of art
That you are.
